Creative Corner

Channel Your Emotions Through Creativity

Art can express what words often can’t.

Our Creative Corner is a space where those affected by road crashes can share creativity, reflection, and hope. Through artwork, poetry, photography, and writing, we celebrate the strength, memory, and resilience of our community.

Discover moving pieces from our featured artists below, each sharing their own perspective on loss, recovery, and change on our roads.

Through photography and personal stories, this exhibition cuts through the statistics to take an emotional look at the issue of road traffic incidents. The people photographed may be terribly injured and bereaved, their lives devastated. The emotional consequences of these devastating collisions radiates out like waves on a pond. Mothers and fathers are left wondering why they have outlived their child, and lovers are separated forever with no opportunity to say goodbye. The work toured the UK and was produced in association with Roadpeace and the tour was sponsored by Green Flag.

This collection of text, paintings and images are my response to the accident that my wife was involved in. It is my account and my account only. I speak for myself and not for N. It is with her support that I make this work and share it.
